Welcome to Transforming Traumas

At Transforming Traumas, therapy is a space where you can slow down, feel heard, and begin to make sense of what you’ve been carrying. I’m Naomi Huffman, a licensed mental health counselor with over five years of experience supporting individuals through trauma, chronic illness, anxiety, and life transitions. I work with clients across the lifespan—from children to older adults—and tailor each session to meet your unique needs, pace, and goals.

I believe healing happens in a safe, supportive environment where you feel respected and understood. My approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. Whether you’re processing past trauma, adjusting to chronic pain or illness, navigating a major life change, or feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or depression, we will work together to build practical coping skills and create meaningful steps forward.

My background includes working with individuals from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and personal backgrounds. I value inclusivity and strive to create a space where you can show up fully as yourself. I also support clients in advocating for their needs—whether that means navigating systems, setting boundaries, or building a life that aligns with your values.

At Transforming Traumas, the goal isn’t just to manage symptoms—it’s to help you reconnect with yourself, strengthen your resilience, and move toward a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling.
